
CHRISTIAN DÍAZ-FONSECA
Christian Díaz-Fonseca, is a Mexican filmmaker with 22 years of experience in film and advertising. He has participated in more than 12 feature films and TV series.
In the advertising industry, he has collaborated with transnational brands and companies by directing important campaigns in Mexico, the United States, and Europe. Having a disruptive mind and a passionate talent; his executions have garnered special attention in genres such as Comedy and Epic Dramas.
In 2021, Díaz-Fonseca participated in the first television execution for CBD products in Latinamerica. This campaign became the most iconic one of that year in Mexico.
He has also made a great impact in the world of international Sports Marketing with not only promotional campaigns for Televisa, Univisión, and TUDN, but also with international campaigns such as the Super Bowl in Houston and New York, National Soccer teams, and the NBA. He has also participated as a developer for the XFL, the first professional mixed martial arts league in Mexico.
Awards:
In 2019, PROMAX (US) grants him a golden award for best comedy in 2019 for the Liga MX campaign.
In 2021, his trajectory is recognized by the PROMAX AWARDS (US HISPANIC) by awarding him under the category of “Brand Image Commercial” with a Gold Medal and under the category of “Bando Image Campaign” with a Silver Medal.
During The Telly Awards (USA) “Verano de Campeones con Guaynna y Angeles Azules“ he receives a Silver Medal for two categories: “Comermercials / Marketing Promocional - Sports” and “Promotional - use of music”.
He was nominated as a finalist for “Best Choreography / Screening /Shot Sequence” in the Glass Screen Festival for his production Fútbol a la Gente - Verano de campeones.
Currently, he splits his time between developing advertising pieces and creating his own original content (film and TV series) for international streaming now that two of his cinematographic pieces are scheduled for commercial runs in 2023.
